Windows XP Home SP2Strengths: Windows XP Home SP2 has some improvements over the earlier version and is the version most of us should use. There are more supported devices and the addition of a security center. Weakness: Security is still a constant problem. SP2 has numerous small improvements over the earlier version. In particular the Security Center and the fact that this version supports more hardware devices. The Security Center is especially good for neophytes, as it makes you pay attention to a Firewall, Anti-virus programs and Spyware programs.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2Strengths: Works on the Intel Macs Weakness: Windows XP that attracts spyware and viruses I purchased this OEM version of Windows XP Home because previous reviewer had mentioned that he was able to install it on his Intel Mac. Sure enough, I was able to install it on my son's Macbook. Now he has the best of both world.

Windows XP Home OEMStrengths: Cheap though windows has no strengths Weakness: Still bloody expensive for a 5 year old piece of software This is the ONLY way to buy a software license of windows. $199 for the full retail version? I think not. Unless you're using windows to play games that don't exist on a mac, you should be using a mac. Get a real OS. Advertisement

Windows XP home
Strengths: loads fine..key number is valid..no operational problems
Weakness: none detected
The product works well, however, advertising does not indicate it is for sale with a new PC nor does it indicate it is for the African/middle eastern market. This would be a problem possibly for someone purchasing it for use inside the USA.
