Great value and very stylish

Strengths: This is a very stylish case with the features to back it up. The cooling fans and ventilation ports keep my hardware extremely cool. The price was very reasonable as well. I have no complaints.

Weakness: The only problem I had which wasn't really a problem was that it was a little difficult to get the dvd drive in the bay. I had to take off a couple of brackets to ge to it.

I am using this case for a homebrew pvr so I was looking for a very stylish case that would fit in with the rest of my home theater equipment. This case does just that. I would recommend this case to others as well with those intentions. The price of the case was probably my largest buying point, because stylish cases these days can go for at least double this price. Overall a great buy.

Great Box

Strengths: Nice style, lots of internal drive bays. Built in access at the front panel for audio, USB and Firewire. From my Point of view very quiet.

Weakness: For my motherboard A8N-VM CSM the power connector and drive connectors are all the way forward, quite close to three of the internal drive bays making installation a bit tricky but it worked.

Using this case was quite easy, I picked it out because of the look. Was surprised to find that there is a flip down panel in the front where the DVD/CD drive goes exposing two additional 5 1/4 " drive bays. The drive bay covers are black metal not the cheap plastic. There is no 3 1/2" drive bay access, the case would handle a vertical one in the middle but there is no space on the front. It does...

ThermalTake Bach Media Lab Black Home Theater PC

Strengths: Nice looking, Lots of Room for Drives. Good budget pricing.

Weakness: Front Drive Opening Has No Eject Button, Too Bright Lights

Good looking HTPC case. Room for (5) 3 1/2" hard drives and (3) 5 1/4" drives. Comes with one fan in the front and two in the rear. Fits full size ATX motherboards and regular ATX power supplies. Front drive opening is kinda useless since there is no eject button. You have to open the whole bay to get to the eject button. Not perfect but overall a good value.

Great HTPC Case

Strengths: Great Price... neat design.

Weakness: Drive Bay door prevents you from being able to access the DVD drive button without dropping down the front. Makes the spring slot cover totally useless.

Used this as the basis for my HTPC set up. A little cramped but you can get most of your essentials (cards) in it if you plan it out well. The case is attractive and fits in well next with my entertainment system furniture. The lights on the front are a little bright and can't be adjusted. I added an extra to the case but am rethinking that due to the noise level.

Thermaltake Bach

The Thermaltake Bach is a high-end media PC case with a desktop design. With the addition of an optional remote control and VFD display, the Bach can be used without any other input devices. The potential to do away with the keyboard and mouse can reduce clutter around the television it is connected to, but this comes at the expense of usability, as eliminating the keyboard and mouse makes...

Thermaltake offers numerous HTPC cases, many of which bear the monikers of famous composers. The first bar of this refrain invokes the German Bach, followed by the Austrian wunderkind Mozart. But where's Beethoven?
