HP (Hewlett-Packard) Philips&Reg; Aurilium 5.1...

Strengths: Makes plugging and unplugging my headset just a reach away. Also can mute at a push of the button which is right on top. Another cool thing I like is the way it looks, nice and silvery with blue lights! VERY dazzling. The volume indicator rises and falls

Weakness: This isnt really bothersome at all, I came up with this becuase I figure I should think of somthing. But it has three buttons on it the mute one, A Digital Out one that as far as I can tell changes the way the bass and reverb go. But it has a four bar in

I love this thing. And even though I havn't played with played with all the features on it I have a feeling that this really boosts my playing experience.

Strengths: inexpensive, easy to setup

Weakness: cannot run standalone (without being attached to a computer)

Thought I might be able to used this device as a standalone amplifier with some computer speakers for a wireless microphone system. No can do. The unit will not work unless it's plugged into and powered by a computer's USB port. I purchased a USB device that plugs into the wall to act as a charter for USB devices. When I plugged the Aurliium external sound card into this device, nothing happened....
