Logisys Computer LOGISYS Computer PS550ABK 550Watts...

Strengths: Quiet

Weakness: Very low quality

This thing worked for 3 months and died. But when it did work, it powered a AMD Athlon 64 4000+, Geforce 7800 GS OC, Gigabyte HT mobo, 1 gig ram, 3 HDs, 1 cd rom drive and 7 fans. I guess all that was just too much for old stumpy to handle. I will not purchase a Logisys again. In fact I am going to push for a refund.

sturdy power source

Strengths: supurr quiet, perfect air flow. and you can't beat the price on here.

Weakness: zero

Very sturdy for this dual fanes intake and exhaust. Plenty of power for running a single vid card and normal accessories. Virtually noiseless. Pulls heat out of case very well. beautiful painting.

DOA unit

Strengths: cheap price, cheap quality.

Weakness: DOA. Tech support won't return my phone calls.

I am switching to other brands. This DOA left a bad taste. At least it did not take down my other components with it. Should have known better Logisys makes one of the lowest-end power supplies.

Good quiet supply for casual user

Strengths: Quiet fans, enough power plugs, SATA plug a nice feature

Weakness: None

We are casual home users (not high-end gamers) and needed a new supply for an upgraded motherboard (which we needed for the new CPU, etc.). Now we have plenty of power for our modest needs (an accumulation of CD and hard drives plus the video card). I like it that the fans are quieter than the older supply we'd had for several years.

Nice power supply

Strengths: Quiet, good for the price, 1+1 SATA connector.

Weakness: Too less 4-pin connectors for its power.

I got this for a low cost home server. Up and run for 3 days day and night. Quiet even in the night. The two-fan design is good for my old box which does not have good place to mount additional fans. Direct pulling air flow off the CPU fan. The only thing that is bothering me is that it has only four 4-pin connectors for HD/CDs and one SATA power line (and on 4-pin to SATA converter). I believe...

Good for the Price

Strengths: Is not very heavy, fairly quiet, sata connector

Weakness: Wiring not wrapped, not many four pin connectors, and wires could be longer

Excellent power supply for the price. No bells or whistles on this power supply. I would not use on the latest and greatest system but for an older computer it is a perfect replacement.
