GREATEST MMORPG TO BE FOOLISHLY DESTROYED WEEKLY (BY...

Strengths: This game is totally addictive and "should have been" the last game you'd ever buy:-)

Weakness: Customer Service is a "totally unaccountable, non-existant, rubber stamp joke" and sadly the game designers change the rules/guidelines without reason (or accountability to you) every tuesday??? :-(

I personally had 10 totally Different Characters at once in this game; 5 on the Alliance side(Good Guys) and 5 on the Horde side(Bad Guys)... some all the way up to 45th level! All of them were months of time devoted to each one, because I played them the hardest way known in this game; totally solo! This was a passion for me that was crushed little by little with every Tuesday's updates! Sadly...

Main benefit of prepaid cards is no need for credit...

Strengths: no credit card needed, easy to give as a gift

Weakness: Only 60-day version available as far as I know, not found in all stores

The main reason to get this is so you don't have to use a credit card online for gameplay, or, to give as a gift. It's easy to start up or continue play with this card. The instructions for adding the card are at www.worldofwarcraft.com/gamecard. The prepaid card is packaged in a box and includes a trial version inside, so it would also make a great gift for introducing someone to the game. The...

World of WarCraft 60 day Game Card.

Strengths: very good choice for purchasing online gametime, without the hassle or potential problems of using a credit card.

Weakness: only offered in 1 format; more options would be a nice feature.

The World of WarCraft 60 day Game Card, is a very convenient method to prepay for playing World of WarCraft online. It is a great gift idea for the serious gamer, who either does not have access to a credit card, or prefers not to use one. A nice addition to the 60 day card, might be ones of longer time periods, or even an option for timed usage. The casual gamer may like to have the option of...

A good way to pay for WoW

Strengths: Avoid getting suckered into the subscription model

Weakness: you're still buying 2 months at a time

This is a game card, so you're paying in advance for two months of playtime. I think it's a good way to pay for WoW, because you don't have to set up a subscription and forget to cancel it. When your playtime expires, you can buy another game card to just let it expire and retire from the game. The downside is you're buying 2 months in advance, and you don't get any discount for buying multiple...

If you are going to play WoW then use the 60day cards

Strengths: Can be purchased online no tax & Free Shipping :) Cheap entertainment for 60 days only $29.99

Weakness: Can take over your life.

I used to allow Blizz to charge my CC, but found I was less cognizent of how much I was spending. I didn't like the suprise in every month's bill. I would rather knowingly make a purchase for $29.99 and not be suprised at the end of the month. WoW is the best game I have ever played. I do enjoy other games, but WoW is the one that keeps me coming back for more. Using 60 day cards means you can...

World of Warcraft - Need I say More

Strengths: Game cards are easily used, make great gifts for gamers in your family. Can ocassionally find them for less than the online subscription. No credit card required for world of warcraft.

Weakness: Only offered in one denomination (60 days) as opposed to subscriptions which are monthly, tri-monthly, or semiannual. Slightly higher price (MSRP) than subscription.

This is a good way to play the game without using a credit card and makes for a great gift to that gamer who cant put down world of warcraft. It would be nice to see it offered in more denominations like prepaid cell phone is. Nice to not have to remember to cancel your subscription.

If Blizzard could print money it would look like...

Strengths: A better bargain than paying online.

Weakness: It's only a card. Buy the game too!

It's more advantageous to pick up a WoW 60 day game card than pay through the game itself. First, you won't need to upload your CC to play WoW if you buy a game card and input it during your initial installation and account setup. Secondly, it gives you more control over when you want to start that valuable 60 day gaming period. You can let it run out, take a couple months off, and then put in...

A great way to pay for a great game!

Strengths: The ability to pay cash, the ability to suspend your account, the ability to find sales on the product!

Weakness: Slightly inconvenient if you don't go to the store often, might be out of stock when you go.

This is a great substitute for paying using a credit card. This way, you can pick it up in store, pay with cash (not EVERYONE has credit cards), and get going in WoW! This is a great item and I highly recommend it!

WOW 60 Day Card

Strengths: Ease of use.No automatic-billing cycles.

Weakness: NA

Hooks you up with 60 months of gameplay on Blizzard's World of Warcraft servers. This actually comes out to be cheaper than if you subscribe each month. With tax. A nice option if you don't have access to a credit card.
