Antec TP3650 650W Power Supply

Strengths: triple +12v,quiet,SLI support,120mm fan

Weakness: non so far

Just hooked it up to my Antec 900 and ASUS P5B. Very stable, has a new 8 PIN 12V connector, huge 120mm fan.Spent some time to organize wires I don't need.I wish it has modular ones.Fan only power connectors help since the case has two front fans. Very good power supply for the price.

one of the best mid range psu's gets even better

Strengths: powerful 650w, triple 12v rails, very accurate voltage rails along with antec's great quality

Weakness: does not come in 1000w version or quad 12v rail version like pc power & cooling, enermax or thermaltake.

as great as the antec 550tp-II is, the antec 650 trio is even better with an extra 100w and an extra 12v rail which will come in handy for duel cpu systems along with more headroom and better stability. however when it comes to quad cpu systems, the antec 650 trio will be inadequate and antec needs to come out with a antec 1000 quad version as well in order to keep up with the competing 3 psu's...

Antec TruePower Trio 650W ATX12V & EPS12V Power...

Strengths: Power, Quality, Efficiency

Weakness: No modular cables which made it a pain to fit in my midtower case... but for the price I got it for, I can't complain

Started upgrading my old computer with a bunch of peripherals and realized that the stock 250W PSU wasn't going to cut it. I didn't want to spend another $100 on upgrades but didn't want a cheap POS. All I really needed was 400W, but when I went to Frys, the Trio 650 was on sale for $99 plus a $50 rebate. I couldn't pass that deal up so I got it. The 650W is definitely overkill for what I do, but...

Good Power Supply..

Strengths: Good power, silent

Weakness: n/a

This is a great power supply for the money, and it runs quietly which is what I like. The three twelve watt rails is great. Some say they want 4 quad, but 3 is fine for my purposes. Was easy to set-up. I bought the 650watt version, and I highly recommend it.

Just enough amps

Strengths: Handles my power hungy system well

Weakness: Wish it had a few more amps per rail.

Their specs here don't tell you but each 12v rail has 19amps. For my x1950pro 512 video card it requires a 12v rail w/ 19amps and for crossfire it then needs 38amps total and this power supply can do that since the 2nd rail is supplying 12v @ 19amps as well. I don't think this PSU will be with me when I upgrade next year to some new dual DX10 cards since I'm sure their amp requirements will be...

Works great!

Strengths: Powerful with plenty of connectors

Weakness: Wish it was modular....

Bought this supply for a great price and haven't been disappointed. wish I had read the manual before using the 'fan-only' connectors as their output is based on need as determined by the PSU. took me a while to figure out why my fans were turning so slow. I was able to manage the wires decently in my Antec nine hundred case, have OCed my E6600 to 3.8 Ghz on air and this product hasn't flinched....

Super Quiet Power Supply

Strengths: Quiet, 85% efficiency, and 5 yr warrranty.

Weakness: No modular cables, no quad rails, only four sata plugs and if only it came in higher wattage.

Really supper quiet. Can't hear the fan at all. Wished I got this earlier. I guess Antec finally heard enough complaints regarding the cabling because mine came with all of the cables sheathed. Saved me a lot of trouble!

Antec True Power Trio TP3-650

Strengths: Antec brand name, 5 year warranty, accurate voltages

Weakness: OEM - Generic Grey Case, NOT a True 3 rail power supply, lack of sheathing over all cables (24 pin cable only)

Good, solid power supply, Sea Sonic OEM. Found an on-line review of this power supply and when the reviewer opened the power supply he found that there is 1, not 3 12V rails. Other then that this power supply has more then enough power for overclocking. Wanted to put the Trio in a windowed case but can't because of the battleship grey paint job.

Runs Great

Strengths: Nice and quiet. Plenty of power and cables.

Weakness: One more set of serial drive plugs would be nice. A lot of leftover cables in my setup. Modular would have been nice.

Running SEVEN 250GB Seagate SATA2 HDs, Athlon 64 3700+, 4GB memory, RAID card and a PCI Express video card along with a couple of DVD drives. Maybe they should provide one or two adaptors for old style drive power to serial drive power.

Best PSU I ever used!

Strengths: Nice power output, high quality built, good material, enough power support, good cable management.

Weakness: None.

I decided to pick this power supply unit for my new built mid-range gig. It well support all hardware. If you are using dual core, high end graphic card, 2 or more hard drives, you definitely need this psu. The cables are also clearly labeled and easy to manage. I would recommend it to anyone else.
