Thermaltake Toughpower 850WStrengths: Plenty of juice and plugs for your current PC needs. 4 PCI-E plugs for 2 8800GTX's or 2 7950GX2's. Silent. Looks good. Weakness: Expensive. Doubles as a space heater. I got this power supply primarily because it is one of the few PSU's out there that is officially approved by nVidia for 2 8800GTX's or 2 7950GX2's (quad-sli). It has 4 power rails, 2 of which are rated at 30 amps, and 4 dedicated PCI-E connectors. Yes, you can use a smaller, cheaper power supply and use a Molex to PCI-E adapter, but I wanted something that I knew wouldn't have any problem...

Enough power for any gaming computer.Strengths: Modular cable management, power, 4 PCI-E connectors, huge 14" fan. Weakness: None so far. Chose the 850w over the 750w due to the modular cable management (now the 750w is also available with modular cable management), which I have used in the past with various other power supplies. My first Thermaltake power supply and it did not disappoint. Plenty of connections, plenty of power for 2 8800GTX video cards. Once installed, it can be a little difficult to plug in the back modular...

Thermaltake Toughpower 850W W0131RUStrengths: SLI Rails are clearly marked, power supply includes additional hook ups for Dual SLI for setups requiring quad 6v connects. Comes with all the necessary connectors for high end graphics, and high end mother boards. Great deal compared to other manufacters Weakness: Louder then expected, though considerably quieter the 600w Antec I had previously. Only SLI Rails are marked with voltage, all other rails not marked. Runs my system perfectly. Stable 12v rails w/ no fluctuation detected in bios or PC probe. Nvidia certified to run 2 8800 gtxs. The modular cabling is definately a plus! Warning!!! you can get a FALSE Failure when testing this PS with some Power Supply Testers. (Notably the kind with the digital Read out that several Vendors offer here on Newegg). Don't be fooled if it says you have low voltage...

Great PSU at a good priceStrengths: Mostly modular, sturdy, stable, quad rails. Weakness: Not completely modular, doesn't bake cookies. This power supply is one sturdy box! It was impressed by the quality of the power supply and how well it was packaged. I haven't had any problems at all with it and it provides well over the amount of power that I need to run my newly built system. The only thing that I don't like is that the main power cables that supply power to the motherboard are not modular. Overall it's a great PSU that I...

Great Power Supply
Strengths: Sli ready, modular design, quiet fan
Weakness: price, no bling bling, runs hot
This is the first step in my ultimate upgrade. I chose this power supply for the sli, the wattage, and the brand name, and 2 seperate pci-e connectors for graphic cards. The good: ThermalTake name, I figured this would go well with the Tai-Chi case I'm going to buy. Thermaltake is a good name. It's sli ready, which is good since I'm going with a 680i motherboard. Has two pci-e channels, great for...
