Really nice and quite power supply

Strengths: efficiency, quiet

Weakness: cost, support

I have been using this for more than 6 months now and I have found the power supply to be highly dependable, very quite and energy friendly. I can keep runnig my PC without worrying about high energy bills. The power supply was also able to handle the following: 1. Radeon 9800 2. Core 2 duo processor and motherboard 3. 3 PCI cards 4. 4 HDD 5. 2 DVD Writers hope this helps

Quiet and Efficient PSU

Strengths: Efficient, quiet, easy to set up

Weakness: No modular cable management

This Antec PSU appears to be a very solid build and has performed stably for 3 months with very low noise and low heat. Multiple testing sites have reported and confirmed its 80+ efficiency. The only downside is that there is no modular cable design, and there is a lot of clutter inside a case (esp. for small cases) which could block air flow.

Quiet, efficient, simple design

Strengths: It's quiet. 80 PLUS certified. It has long cables.

Weakness: Not modular

The 80 PLUS certification means the efficiency rating of 80%+ is at 25%, 50%, and 100% load. Other power supplies that have a high efficiency rating, but are NOT 80 PLUS certified, may only be efficient at 100% load. At 50% the efficiency rating could drop to 70% or lower. Make sure you get an 80 PLUS certified adapter. The cables were long enough to reach even the furthest of my drives at the...

Nice Power Supply

Strengths: Super quiet, no voltage switch, has 4 SATA connectors, can be used with motherboards that have 20-pin connectors, nicely organized cables, hopefully economical in the long term.

Weakness: None that I can think of.

I bought this to replace a generic Turbolink LC-A350ATX, and so far I am very happy with this very nice Antec EA-430. Fitted perfectly in my case (XSonic Xtreme II X28-4W) and works flawlessly so far with my older Abit VT7 motherboard. Cables are very nicely organized, with plenty of connectors for a regular user. I cannot say how economical it is thanks to its 80PLUS compliance, but hopefully it...

Great Efficient PS

Strengths: Efficient, powerful enough for most applications

Weakness: none

I bought this in my attempt to make an energy effienct gaming machine (an oxymoron, i know). With everything else I assembled, I'm able to run Battlefield 2 with full graphics at ~200W. Idles ~150W. Have had no problems at all with it.

Effecient and VERY quiet power supply

Strengths: 80-plus efficiency. Pays for itself over the life of the computer. Quiet.

Weakness: None

I powered on this with my current Dell PC and the difference was dramatic. This PS is quiet and runs cool. It's also very efficient. Should be able to handle any Quad core CPU with an 8800 GT video card with no issues.

Antec Earthwatts EA-430 Power Supply

Strengths: 80Plus, Long Cables, Very Quite

Weakness: Not modular

You cannot go wrong with this Antec PS. This is my third Antec PS and I feel the best one yet. It is rated 80Plus which will save you money on your electrical bill (something everyone is concened with these days) and Green so it is good for the environment. The cables are long enough to reach evey device in my case. It is very quite which is perfect for my HTPC setup. I wish it was modular so the...

Outstanding Power Supply from Reliable Manufacturer

Strengths: Very quiet; 80PLUS means greater efficiency and lower power costs- cable lines are long enough to reach just about any case

Weakness: more expensive than others, but still resonable

very quiet power supply that i know will last me years- have had many antec power supplies that have been very reliable 80plus certified to ensure optimum efficiency and less wasted power. highly recommend for anyone looking for a power supply! don't waste your time with cheap no-brand names. they give you nothing but headaches!

Excellent power supply for the cost

Strengths: Brand, efficiency rating, cost

Weakness: no modular cabling

Excellent power supply, very quite, highly efficient with 80 rating and environment friendly. I also found it to relatively light weight compared to my older Antec. I read online that this is originally a sesonic OEM which we all know if one of the best OEM brands. It comes with voltage autodetection but lacks the modular cabling which so important nowadays.

Very quiet and stable

Strengths: quiet stable efficient good tech support

Weakness: no detachable cables only 430w

I like this PSU very much. It's very plain-looking -- no fancy pictures or whatever, but works very well. Its internal fan is essentially inaudible, and the power has been very stable. You don't want this for your SLI super-power rig, but you probably DO want it for your HTPC or basic desktop.
