Okay power supply

Strengths: Efficiency; Low noise;

Weakness: Unstable power bands

This thing gets the job done. It does not show up to the quality one would expect as it is made by Seasonic, one of the best power supply brands. The voltage meters on my motherboard show this does not provide stable power; it runs fine but the readings vary more than they should. Be careful to only get this if you have a low power system. It undervolted a system it should have been able to run...

solid build, no noise

Strengths: quieter than hard drive.

Weakness: none

simple and efficient. 380W is a little low, but all my study indicates that I don't really need that much power and max efficiency is hit at about 80% of rated output

clean and quiet PSU

Strengths: easy to install, more than enough IDE and SATA connectors, has 80+ efficiency from 20-100% loads, good 3 year warranty

Weakness: none so far

There aren't that many bells and whistles to this PSU and it's rather plain looking. However, it's a reliable PSU. 380W is enough for non-video-game user. 80% efficiency is more important than probably a lot of people think.

EA380 380W Power Supply

Strengths: Efficiency, price, quiet

Weakness: wires are not sleeved, 80mm fan

This power supply is good for economic build without high wattage requirements although 12v rails are adequate and there are a lot of connectors. The case is very basic and wires arenot sleeved. The unit is reliable and due to efficiency is economic to run. These earthwatts units fill the niche for low to mid end systems where economy is important and voltage requirements are not extreme. I...

Antec EarthWatts 380 Watt "Green" Power supply

Strengths: 80% efficient; good for HTPC application; 3-year warranty

Weakness: More cables, perhaps modular

I am building a HTPC, so didn't have alot of power-requirements (uATX motherboard, 8600GT video card, DVD drive and two hard-drives). I wanted it to be very power-efficient, as it will be powered on alot. I have bought antec PSUs in the past, and have been quite happy with the quality. They provide a 3-year warranty, which they backup with good service. The only thing this supply was missing was...

Quality you'd expect from Antec

Strengths: -Silent -Fits smaller microATX cases -Lots of power cables...much more than need -Antec

Weakness: Nada

I don't have a way to test out its efficiency, so I'm taking Antec's word for it. I currently have an overclocked quad-core, 8800GT, and 3 hard drives....everything still runs super smooth. Can't complain about anything at the moment.

No problems with the power supply as of yet. it works so far . cant complain as of yet. great price. I would buy it again if i could. Works for me. Cool product.

Best power supply I have ever owned!

Strengths: -Quiet -Powerful -4 Sata connectors -Save money on energy -Fits well in most computers (Especially dells)

Weakness: -Only 1 pci-express cable (No SLI)

I got this power supply when I upgraded my dell e520. The stock Power supply was not strong enough for my 2 sata HD, 1 sata DVD burner, HD Tv tuner, 8 Usb ports, and 8600GT video Card. It wouldn't boot up properly (or take a lot longer). Now with this PS, I boot up in 30 seconds because all my devices are getting all the power they need! I highly reccommend this PS for anyone who has a 9600GT or...
