Great if it fitsStrengths: Signal strength and speed ar exemplary Weakness: May not fit all laptops I have this coupled to the DIR-655 and it far exceeds my DI-624 and DWL-G650. The problem is the slope and size of the antenna. It prevents the card from making complete contact with the pins in the slot. I have a Toshiba M35 S359 and it barely maintains contact. If the card should brush against anything or if you move it from lap to table it breaks contact and connectivity. It may be just my...

D-Link DWA-652 Xtreme N Notebook AdapterStrengths: Most of the time, it's really fast, when the modem isn't slowed down. Weakness: Still based off of an unfinished spec. I like to stream videos and play games a lot. When I heard that Draft-N products were good for both of these, I decided to splurge on this, seeing as how it and the corresponding router were the highest rated on CNET and customer review sites everywhere. This product, along with the router, makes a superb wireless connection.

DWA-652
Strengths: good range, good software
Weakness: conflicts with sound drivers
Booting up with the card installed screws up the sound drivers on my notebook. I must wait until XP finishes loading before pushing in the card otherwise no sound and then it's off to device manager..... uninstall, run the new hardware wizard, install, then into control panel/sound devices, set the volume control in the task bar blah blah blah
