Good budget cpuStrengths: Cheap Dual core Low power (brisbane core) Weakness: Somewhat small heatsink Considering I got this thing for under $70 and it is common to get 30-40% overclock out of it, this is a great deal. The lower power (brisbane) version of this ones makes it especially suitable for a HTPC box, which is where I'm using it. Amazing power for the money.

Super fast low priced AMD dual core CPU!!!!!Strengths: Brisbane 65nm (so it uses less power and runs cooler too), it's an amazing deal at $70, Brisbane CPUs are known to overclock good, it's an AMD CPU. Weakness: None I used this processor as the basis for my first dual core build. I only paid $70 for it at newegg.com right after the July 9, 2007 AMD price cuts! I have this in a Gigabyte GA-M61P-S3 motherboard which has on-board video. I have the CPU overclocked to 2667MHz at an amazing 1.2 volt Vcore (the stock is 1.3v) 24 hours Orthos stable. Yes, I overclocked it by 567MHz and undervolted it still. It's not...

Great Budget Overclocker!!!Strengths: Brisbane that loves to overclock and PRICE! Weakness: None at this pricepoint! For less than $70 you can own a great overclocking chip. It will overclock at 2.7 on a Arctic cooling alpine 7 cooler. It comparable to chips costin 2-3 times as much at that speed. Other pluses include 65W power consumption, cool n quiet, and did I mention price!

Low priced CPU with great OC potentialStrengths: Dual core, great OC capability, the most important - low price Weakness: NONE This CPU is a very overclockable. The comes with 2.1GHz stock speed. If you want to overclock it, this CPU overclocks easily up to 3GHz. This CPU is for budget hunter, but overclocks very well. It's the lower power (brisbane) version, so the power consumption is very low. For around $65, it's really worth every penny you spend.

Multi purpose AMD processorStrengths: dual core, 65nm design, fast for everyday use Weakness: non I was interested in building my first computer from scratch. Trying to get best performance for not a lot of money. This processor gives me several routes that I started exploring. First I'm using it in my HTPC and I can leave the PC on without worries of wasting as much energy as I did with my older PC. I've read other have overclocked theirs and that will be my next project once I "have to...

A great CPU for the performance/priceStrengths: Runs cool. Overclockable. (Very easily OCed from 2.1G to 2.5G using stock fan and default voltage in my nFoce 570 motherboard) Priced only half of the intel E4XXX series. Weakness: not faster than the Intel Core2 DUO. It's a great CPU for those who want to build an affordable PC or HTPC. Yes it's not as fast as the Intel Core 2 DUO E4XXX, even slower than the Dual Core 21XX in Super Pi test. But considering the price of it and its motherboard, it is a great buy. It's capable to handle most of the general works like multimedia playing, word processing, web surfing, etc. You won't notice much difference even...

Good CPU, good OCStrengths: Runs very cool, fast, excellent price and overclocks like a beast Weakness: None This CPU is awesome. Overclocking is easy. I overclocked it from 2.1 to a 2.4GHz, and plan to overclock it even further. The fan is nice and quiet.

Top notch processor.Strengths: AMD quality, energy efficient, 3 year warranty, Dual Core Technology. Weakness: Need after market fan to overclock. This is an excellent processor for your medium build computer that you plan to surf the internet, do light gaming or use in an HTPC. With all of the recent offerings from Intel, you'll want to try them for a really heavy duty system, but otherwise, these chips will do just fine. Get yourself a decent after market fan from Cooler Master or Thermaltake and you'll be able to run this processor at...

More horse power with less moneyStrengths: 65 nm Brisbane dual core, good for OC, inexpensive Weakness: Not known so far It gives you a good performance with significantly less money compared to Intel chips. You will get more if you like overlocking. It uses 65nm Brisbane technology so it consumes less power and runs cooler. I have it running in one of my computers all the time and have not noticed a single issue with it. So far I am very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended if you are looking for an upgrade... Budget CPU with very good OC potential
Strengths: low price. dual core. Heatsink included. Easily OC-able.
Weakness: None
Though this CPU is priced to sell, it is a good candidate for Overclocker. It runs at 2.1GHz at stock speed. That is enough speed for office work, internet browsing. If you want to squeeze more, this CPU overclocks easily up to 3GHz. You need to increase voltage little bit though. Even with stock voltage, I was able to run it at 2.5GHz stable, which is my current setting. The retail box comes...
