Awesome Board!Strengths: SLI board MSI's New DualCore technology which allows automatic overclocked (Works by only OCing when needed) 1333 FSB and Dual/Quad core capable Passive cooling and fan if needed Weakness: 40mm fan that comes with the board is fairly loud... but it is easily replaced with a silent fan or not used at all. This is a very good motherboard. It has pretty much every feature that your average computer enthusiast could need unless you are seriously into OCing or tweaking. SLI tech with slots for 8GB of memory, Dual OR Quad core up to 1333 FSB, automatic OCing, passive cooling and a 40mm fan for NB for OCing or water cooling. No compatibility problems. Great board + great price = Great buy!

MSI P6N SLI Platinum MOBOStrengths: Quad Core, Dual Channel Memory Slots at 4-4-4-12, eSATA, IEEE-1394, HD 7.1 Channel Audio, RAID Weakness: Only 4 SATA Ports I chose this over an Asus board which had 6 SATA ports. I wish it had more, but I'm only using two currently. I gave up the two extra SATA ports for the eSATA port which is really cool. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about as my board came with an IEEE-1394 built-in and an external connector which I didn't use and opted to plug my front panel case connector to. Maybe he was...

Excelent boardStrengths: Lots of options and full of features Weakness: Loud (optional) bus fan, not enough 1394 and SATA connections Setup was a breeze with this board. All connections are properly marked and easy to use. More than likely you can use the passive cooling on the bus system as they are nice copper heat sinks, however it does come with an optional fan to attach to the main heat sink. This optional fan is very loud as it's a small but fast one. If you are not going to overclock and your system runs stable without...

MSI P6N SLI PlatinumStrengths: Optical sound port, four memory slots, Quad core capability, SLI capability, SATA II capability, 4 SATA slots, and many more. Weakness: Only 1 internal CD audio connecter, Only 1 IDE cable, difficult to get the stock CPU cooler attached. I have had this board running for a month now and I'm really happy with it. I decided on this board over many others for the number of features on it. It can handle the old EIDE drives and has plenty of SATA 2 ports. It also has capability to accept a Quad core CPU which are really expensive right now. That is why I decided to go with the Duo Core processor, and move to the Quad in the future. I...

MSI P6N SLI PlatinumStrengths: Cost, Overclock Ability, IDE Ports Weakness: N/A I now have three of these motherboards running the following Intel Core 2 Duo processors: E6600, E4300, E2160. In each case the board/system has been stable (solid as a rock) although all three processors are overclocked. I am using Crucial Ballistix or Ballistix Tracer ram in each and cooling the processors with Zalman 9700 or 9500 units. Of the motherboard brands I've used, I prefer MSI.

Great BoardStrengths: SLI capable board, lets you overclock easily, comes with all the cables you will need to hook up all your devices, great directions to install, no problems with vista Weakness: there is a green and orange light on the board that are pretty bright. doesn't annoy me but i can see others not liking this My first time I built a system and this board made it a breeze. Had no problems recognizing all my devices. Lots of overclocking features if your into that. Works great with my e6600, OCZ 2GB DDR2 SLI ready RAM, 8600GT graphics card. Overall very happy with the board.

SatisfactionStrengths: very solid board, plenty of room to work, fast, clear build instructions - great design, and most of all, it does what I has: 2xnVid 7950 SLI 2x250Gb SATA Weakness: Can't think of any I recommend this motherboard to any who want to built a Dual2Core computer....Great board ...flawless...This is my first MSI board and i do not regret my choice one bit, vista installed flawlessly with this board and is running great. Also used 2 gigs GEIL ram and it works great too

Solid MotherboardStrengths: Tons of features Weakness: None seen so far. Picked up this board for a q6600 and 4gb of ocz ddr2-800 ram. Nice heatpipe to draw heat away. I like how it has 2 IDE since I haven't upgraded to all SATA drives yet. It has run very stable so far. I have yet to overclock, so I can't comment on that yet.

Great board for a good priceStrengths: e-sata port, pretty solid if not overclocking. 7.1 HD audio was great, replaced my creative lab live external. Weakness: Overclock ability seems unstable, Nvidia driver seem to have a conflict with Netgear/wireless programs, experiencing some crashes. Jumper markings on the board are confusing, had to look in manual. I read several review experiencing problems with high voltage memory. So to compare 2.2v Crucial Ballistix, which said did not work, but OCZ 2.1v works fine, plug it in and it'll start.

Great Quality Motherboard
Strengths: Stable, great OC, solid capacitors
Weakness: None to speak of.
After looking around for the best board for my current CPU, E6750, as well as for future CPUs, I needed a motherboard that had two IDE ports since I didn't want to give up my two IDE burners and IDE hard drives. This board was perfect for that by having two IDE ports. The motherboard overclocks nicely and is stable with cooling for the north bridge and south bridge. I currently have all four...
