Better than Service Provider's Offering

Strengths: 1. Cost less than ISP modem. 2. More configuration options than OEM. 3. Auto setup worked like a champ. 4. No dropped signals.

Weakness: 1. Can get information overload if you look more than one screen deep into the device setup.

The equipment cost less than the ISP and is better quality. That was a no brainer purchase. I was really impressed with the ease of setup once my phone line was repaired from the pole. Like I said in the pros - auto setup detected the settings my ISP was using and saved the configuration to the modem. D-Link ADSL2/2+ Ethernet/USB Modem

Strengths: (1) Solid construction (2) I have not had any dropped connections

Weakness: (1) Not specific to this product, but DSL can be a pain to set up if you are not using the specific router that your DSL Internet Provider supplies.

I purchased this DLS Modem because it was a better brand and quality (for the same price) than the ones that most DSL providers ship when you sign up for service. This particular product has performed very well and is of better...

MODEM REPLACEMENT

Strengths: SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS EVEN A NEWBIE CAN FOLLOW TO GET YOU UP AND RUNNING...

Weakness: NONE SO FAR...

REPLACEMENT FOR A ONE YEAR OLD ATT SPEEDSTREAM DSL MODEM. HOPEFULLY THIS ONE DOESN'T QUIT AFTER ONE YEAR. NOTHING MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THIS MODEM OTHER THAN IT IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD. I TESTED THE UPLOAD AND DOWLOAD SPEED AND IT PRODUCED THE SAME RESULT AS THE PREVIOUS MODEM. BRAND NAME AND IT'S CHEAPER THAN ATT SPEEDSTREAM MODEM.
