Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset in Review

Strengths: Excellent tone quality, the noise cancellation is unbelievable and does function as promoted.

Weakness: Controls are a little awkard to get used to and ear buds while servicable, could be better.

The jawbone was purchased primarily for the noise reduction due to useage in a daily very high noise level environment of a suv and automobile repair facilities. While it took a few days to get used to the slightly different profile of the unit, it has been quite comfortable and once I became use to the switches also easy to operate. Does it work? Many of my customers sometimes accuse me of being...

Best Performing Bluetooth Headset Right Now

Strengths: Noise reduction, looks great, not as fragile as it looks

Weakness: Not perfect out of the box, requires modification to make it work well, not the smallest, a little harder to put on

The noise reduction really works. I find that it is an ideal pair to the iPhone in noisy situations. It's not the sexiest design anymore; Apple's Bluetooth headset probably takes that award now but it works perfectly for me on the freeway with the top down and the windows up, frankly even with the windows down. There is really nothing out there for better noise reduction. I think the silver is...

Best Bluetooth headset I've found

Strengths: Light, comfortable to wear, excellent sound quality

Weakness: Buttons are strange (concealed under casing), volume adequate but should be adjustable higher

I have owned a wide variety of Bluetooth headsets (about 10 in all), and overall I find the Jawbone to be the best. It's light, rests comfortably on the ear, has excellent sound quality (provided you have it correctly positioned) and very good range. Pairing the Jawbone was simple - it was detected by my BlackBerry and was working in minutes. Using the headset is just like any other Bluetooth...

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Good sound volume on the receiving end, works great in the car, long stand by time, and very easy to pair with the iPhone

Weakness: ear loops make it hard to het a snug fit, they break easily, and definitely no the smallest or lightest headset.

I have certainly had my fair share of bluetooth headsets over the years, and after watching the video on the company's website I thought this might finally be the one. When the headset is positioned properly, it is very easy to hear the person you are speaking with - far better than my Motorola H700. Previoiusly, I always had complaints while driving that the other person on the line cannot hear...

The Ultimate Bluetooth Headset?

Strengths: Sound quality, noise limiting, charging options, appearance

Weakness: Fit and size

This is my 3rd BT headset so I have tried and failed to receive the advertised benefits from a Cardio700 and Palm Treo. I pair to a Treo650 so that in itself is a problem. This headset delivers in reception on both ends, I can hear them and they can hear me. While background noise is less of an issue, it still can be heard by some. Most importantly, the headset must be in the correct position for...

Overall a Great Headset

Strengths: Excellent outgoing sound quality. Sleek design. Great signal quality. Good noise filtering.

Weakness: Comfort of the earbuds. Incoming sound is a little "tinny" compared to my old Motorola and Jabra devices.

I ordered two of these; one for myself and one for my wife. It's more pricey than some of the others but it's worth it. This is the best headset I've ever owned. The noise filtering doesn't seem to work quite as well as the video on the Jawbone website, but then I've never had to use it around a leaf blower or weed whacker. It picks up wind, but is better in wind than my prior devices. I don't...

Great Device. Meets Expectations. Bulky but works...

Strengths: Improves the sound quality for both parties as I drive with top down in convertible....

Weakness: Size. Also, based on other recommendations, I bought jabra mini eargels and they work great...

So, I was excited and skeptical after all the reviews. As expected it arrived and works like a charm. I suspect the next generation device will be smaller in size (at least I hope). Otherwise it works great. Highly recommend AAA+++

Really good looking and great range. Sound is so-so

Strengths: looks fantastic incredible range great noise canceling (usually)

Weakness: hard to get it to fit right earpiece a little fragile

This is the only headset I've ever had people come up to me and tell me how great it looks. Also, if you get it set on your ear/jaw just right, the noise canceling is awesome. Finally, the range is easily double or more anything else I've ever used. On the other hand, people say that my voice didn't sound very good; getting it adjusted snugly in your ear and on your face takes some doing...

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Silver...

Strengths: Clarity of sound - both receiving and sending is first class.

Weakness: Terrible fit into the ear.

I very much appreciate the sound quality, as did those I called using the jawbone. It is noticeably better than other bluetooth headsets. The problem, which to me is significant, is that none of the supplied, sized rubber ear pieces actually extend into the ear when worn with the over the ear harness. Even when I jam the ear piece into my ear it always pops out. That means that to hear...

Expensive and marginally better

Strengths: -Unique look -Comes with multiple earloops and adapters to customise fit

Weakness: -Marginally better sound quality considering price -Difficult to fit properly -Heavy and insecure feeling

I purchased this based on the recommendation of my brother who uses it almost constantly. Considering the price I do not notice a significant improvement over the sound of the much less expensive ($22) and more comfortable Plantronics unit that this was meant to replace. It also took well over an hour trying to find the magic combination of earloop and adapter to fit and after it was fitted about...
