Great Mouse, Might Cause Problems if you Share a PC...Strengths: Precision, Comfort, Design, Customizability, Works like a standard mouse under linux (plus glowing razer logo) Weakness: Upgrade the Firmware to once you purchase; default firmware can cause problems with some games! No advanced settings or profile support is available under Linux. I bought this mouse in advance of a new PC I'm saving up for. I wanted to have a decent gaming mouse. I have no prior expirence with gaming mice and am a moderate PC gamer. -- First Impressions: Right out of the box this mouse looks sweet. Once it's plugged in to a PC the scroll wheel starts lights up and the Razer logo fades in and out. It has a very good ergonomic design that feels very...

Razers are an acquired tasteStrengths: Responsive, sensitive, smooth motion, and good software options Weakness: Erratic performance at times Razer mice are an acquired taste. The other alternative for gamers are the mice from Logitech. Razer mice tend to be ambidextrous and lightweight, while Logitech ones have more heft and are solely for right-handed gamers. Make sure to try both before buying. The DeathAdder is one of the newer additions to the Razer lineup. It also continues Razer's current trend of making right-handed mice. The...

It's a thing of beautyStrengths: Excellent tracking, nice feel, and pretty. Weakness: No cordless version; Razer doesn't make them. Let me start of by saying that I'm a gamer. One that doesn't care for a ton of buttons on my mouse. I'm a minority, I know. I've owned them, but I hardly ever use them all. That's what a keyboard is for, right? This is my favorite mouse, ever. I've been a dedicated Logitech mouse user for 10 years now. I've tried others, but I usually end up not liking them, mainly because Logitech made a...

Nice mouse but expensiveStrengths: very fast response time Weakness: No driver for ps2 connector I have this mouse shared on two machines with a switch. But the driver does not support the mouse in ps2 mode only usb mode. Had to get a usb convertor to make it work. It is kind of an expensive mouse considering the alternative mice that are available.

Move Over LogitechStrengths: Incredibly comfortable design with a good grip. Very precise and fast. Designed for medium/large hands with perfect button placement. Cool blue lights. Weakness: Weight not adjustable. Location of profile switch. Skinny wires. Loud buttons. Having used Logitech mice for many years now, I was skeptical I would find a competitor who could make a better mouse. So I decided to try out several mice at a local electronics store. At first I found myself leaning towards the Logitech MX518 mouse as my preferred choice, but once I came across the Razer DeathAdder, I knew computing would never be the same. The mouse has quite possibly the most...

The best mouse for CS I have ever usedStrengths: Ultra precision, well hand fitted Weakness: none so far In one simple sentence, this mouse is the best of the best. The mouse I have ever own includes Logitech MX310, 510, G5, G7, Microsoft IE3.0. But for cs purpose, this is the best I have used. You have to touch it to feel it. The pad I am using with it is Razor exact mat. I had QCK+ but I use it with IE3.0 in SC to get the best performace out of it.

One of, if not the best gaming mouse available.Strengths: Excellent tracking, speed, and comfort. Good looking, long cord, rubberized top. Weakness: The sides aren't rubberized like the top for some reason. The firmware has issues installing under Vista. The feet are flimsy, and due to their thickness, or lack their of, the mouse actually rubs slightly on the bottom. Comfort – Very comfortable mouse for right handed players. The top is rubberized, which feels and works great. For some reason though they didn't rubberize the sides of the mouse, which seems odd, and is a little annoying. The overall shape is very similar to the IE3.0 mouse, which I had used for nearly 5 years I believe. -- Installation – Installation was easy, just plug and play for the...

Razor RocksStrengths: Quality Weakness: None This mouse is AWESOME. The quality of construction shows in both the feel of the surface and the solid notching on the scroll wheel as you roll down web pages. The Illumination is VERY COOL as well.

My all time favorite mouseStrengths: - Flawless tracking, - Limitless ability to control the speed and sensitivity of the mouse, - Bar none, the absolute best feel and sensitivity to pressure for all buttons of any mouse I've ever used Weakness: - Doesn't have many buttons, which for a mouse this customizable is a real shame I upgraded from the Diamondback to this mouse because of all the great reviews I read, and they weren't wrong! For right-handed users, this has got to be one of the best mice on the market today. The look and feel of this mouse is absolutely flawless. The buttons are just sensitive enough to require only a light touch, but are solid enough that you won't accidentally press the button when you...

Razer DeathAdder
THE GOOD: The Razer DeathAdder gaming mouse has high accuracy and includes excellent customization software, and two responsive thumb-side buttons (righties only). THE BAD: No Vista driver despite claim of support on the box; no dedicated button for cycling through DPI settings on the fly. THE BOTTOM LINE: Razers DeathAdder gaming mouse is a powerful accessory for fans of 3D shooters and others... Top

The best mouse out there right now
Strengths: Long Cable, Gold Connector, Ergonomic Right-Handed Design, 1000 Hz Polling Rate, 5 Programmable Buttons, 3G Laser for Awesome Tracking, Great Control, Perfect Control up to 3.92 m/s
Weakness: Slightly Curved Bottom with just adequate Teflon feet, Sides are made with shiny plastic that smudges easily and eventually develops blemishes that you need to clean constantly
Even though there are a few cons to this mouse, this is the best mouse I have ever used and was definitely worth the fifty dollars I payed for it. I switched to this mouse from a Razer Diamondback, which breaks easily, and it took me about a week to adjust to the curve of the mouse, but when I did, it definitely felt more natural in my hand and my movements felt more precise in game. It provides...
