An amazing card with great potential

Strengths: Runs all my games on highest settings with 50+ FPS. Comes with an amazing bundle of software (3DMARK 06 in Sapphire version only, Black Box, HL2 Lost Coast, HL2 Deathmatch). 512MB of RAM for games.

Weakness: Runs a bit loud and gets pretty hot. Uses a lot of power, so make sure you have a beefy PSU.

This graphics card is simply amazing and will only get better in the future. Upcoming DirectX 10 games will take advantage of the way this card does Anti-Aliasing through its shaders. Some say it might even surpass the 8800GTX in future games, however that is just pure speculation. If you don't like loud or hot cards, you might wanna hold off for ATI's next generation of GPUs, or maybe even go...

Super potential, not quite up to snuff

Strengths: 320 Stream processors, high clock speeds, great Overclocking (OC), great game bundle (Black box)

Weakness: Huge power consumption that most PSUs cannot handle (< 500 W), no OCing if there is no 8 pin adapter (most PSU do not have this) using catalyst control center (CCC). Very loud, very hot

This is a great card if all you care about is speed, but my advice to you is to WAIT. This has 512 MiB of onboard GDDR clocked to just over 1600 MHz, and has a core clock of 740 MHz. This card has 320 stream processors, which are not designated for any particular task, but can be used for a variety of operations, which is consistent with the 128 stream processors on the flagship of the...
