Silent Hunter 4Strengths: Great graphics, lots of options, one of the few sub games out there now. Weakness: May require patience with some of the glitches. Let's hope they get the patches up quickly to fix them. The last time I played sub games were aces of the deep and red storm rising, so this is a vast improvement in the graphics over them. There isn't a lot of alternatives out there, apart from the much older games and earlier versions of this series. So kudos for keeping this genre up.

Silent Hunter 4Strengths: Better graphics and more varied missions than Silent Hunter 3. One of the best sub games out there. Weakness: Dumbed-down but harder to use controls than Silent Hunter 3. One of only sub games out there. I'm comparing this to Silent Hunter 3 because I liked that game a lot, but thought it had some problems. Silent Hunter 4 fixes those problems, but creates others. First, SH4 has improved the graphics quite a bit from the already great ones of SH3. You can finally scale them to whatever resolution you want, and it has support for widescreen monitors. Silent HunterStrengths: Realism Weakness: None Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific takes you to the front lines of the World War II naval battles between the U.S. and Imperial Japan. The graphics are amazing and the level of detail is adjustable from nearly Arcade style all the way to Full Simulator. Enjoyable to play and impressive graphics.

Strengths: Very realistic, great graphics, easy to modify, fairly intuitive controls.
