GigaByte GA-P35-DS3P MotherboardStrengths: 1333FSB, 1394, IDE, GigaByte performance Weakness: None I chose the board over the A brand beacause the research I did found that this board was without problems where as the other boards I was looking at had all kinds of reported problems. I don't know about you but after building a computer the last thing you want to be doing is dealing with problems that manufactures know about but haven't fixed.

Excellent MBStrengths: Works without any problems with E6750, Crucial Blastic 1066. Nice overclock suppot. Excellent layout: I use MSI fanless 8600GT(it's huge), no problem. Excellent Audio. Built-in 1394. Easy to setup. Weakness: so far no complaints. In MB Intelligent Tweaker of BIOS, you can see C.I.A.2 which can dynamically overclock the CPU based on the CPU load. Before using it, you should check out your CPU's OC capability. While if you want to set the CPU Frequency maunally, you should set C.I.A.2 as disable. I OCed my E6750 to 3.2GHZ with the Vcore=1.2V and crucial RAM to 1200MHZ. My computer configuration: CPU e6750, MB ga-p35-ds3p,...

Gigabyte P35-DS3P Motherboard
Strengths: well built, firewire port, posted on first try
Weakness: audio, memory voltage, overclocking
I used the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Motherboard (Rev 1.0) in my first PC build. I have used PCs for a long time and upgraded hard drives, RAM, graphic cards, etc but this was the first time putting together a PC from scratch. I chose this Gigabyte motherboard because of Gigabytes reputation, solid components, overclocking potential and the fact that I wanted onboard firewire/1394. I was able to put...
