Great Product Samsung!!Strengths: small, lightweight, great picture & focus Weakness: none I must say I've been very pleased with this camcorder. This is the fourth camcorder we have purchased over the years & it's by far the best! We got a great deal on it...We paid $198 the day after thanksgiving, but I've seen them as high as $300. Stay AwayStrengths: Able to place disc in dvd player after recording (after fussing around w/ multiple types of media!) Weakness: You pick, this is probably one of the worst buys I have ever made. I bought right before a family trip to disney, lost two days, because of read/write errors. Tried to get some of the video off the dvd's w' errors w/ no luck. Samsung has horrible cust. service, told me just to try a memorex dvd's. Basically - Bad camcorder, not worth the price, or trouble.

Poor video quality, not satisfied
Strengths: Lightweight, records to mini DVDs or memory card, easy menu
Weakness: Very poor picture, Bad color, does not record well in low light, auto focus does not work well
This camera is not worth the money. I have tried TWO different units and both of them are very poor performance. The picture quality is very low grade. It feels like I'm watching a home movie from the 1990s when camcorders were first out. In fact, I would prefer a camcorder like that to this one. I have a college degree in videography, so I know it is not the operator of the unit. Do not buy this...
