Close, But No Cigar
Strengths: Easy Default Setup, Good Capacity
Weakness: Slow performance, Occasional Lockups, Problem configuring to static IP address
I bought this MYBOOKWORLD drive with high hopes that I finally found an economical network drive. While it does meet that limited criteria, it is extremely slow with data transfer and I have experienced a number of lockups during operation. In fact, the first drive I received locked up after working for less than 10 minutes. It wouldn't respond to the power off button so I pulled the power cable....
