runs cool

Strengths: low power consumption, runs quiet and cool

Weakness: price

This is a processor optimized to run at 1.25V instead of the usual 1.35V, resulting in a cooler running processor that consequently runs quieter. My Biostar system idles at

Green CPU for everyday use

Strengths: Low power consumption of 45W

Weakness: Not fast enough for gamers

Bought this CPU for my home server because of its low power consumption. Has been on 24/7 since I got it and it has been running smoothly and cool. Stock fan does an adequate job of cooling the CPU and is very quiet. This CPU is not for heavy gamers but is an excellent choice for everyone else.

45 Watt and Runs cool

Strengths: 45 Watt 65nm process Inexpensive Dual core

Weakness: 2.1 GHz is the fastest for now

I bought this to put in a HTPC thinking it would be quiet and cool. Bottom line... it is quiet and cool. I am using the stock Heatsink and fan in a very tight case and the fan RPMs stay low since the CPU is running cool. I would have prefered to have a faster CPU, but for the money this is a good value.

Athlon 64 X2 BE-2350 Dual Core Processor

Strengths: Blazing speed from my old amd Thunderbird CPU. Great speed without all the heat. The price is the best part.

Weakness: Downside is the speed. Intel is hitting the 3ghz and this cpu isn't the fastest on the market either. With a little more money you can really score on a better CPU

I would recommend this CPU for anything that is concern about heat and power issue. This would be great for a car computer or a living room computer. Heat means more fans and more noise. I would want one in my bedroom where i can have a computer run while I'm asleep.
