Great Price, Speedy and quietStrengths: Size Weakness: None I purchased two of these to replace my 500 Gb drives. These drives are quite fast with a nice buffer cache and very quiet. I couldn't be happier - well maybe if they were 2 TB :D

Good harddriveStrengths: space 931GB after format, fast 3gb/sec Weakness: none so far I bought Hitachi 1TB drive to replace 2x80GB drives in my desktop computer, it generates less heat and uses less energy. I paid $99.00 after rebate, that is approximately $0.10/1GB which a great ratio. It took 2 hours to do NTFS format.

I purchased this drive to replace 500GB sata drive. I had to increase the capacity for video titles. It generates less heat in comparison to 500gb Seagate drive. It's also pretty quite. I'm really pleased with data transfer speed.
