Good micStrengths: Small, Unobtrusive, good mic for the price!! Weakness: Clip is useless if you're attaching to thin earbud/earphone cable I can not find a headset/microphone unit that I like, I prefer using my Shure E3c earphones for PC gaming/audio anyway. The Zalman ZM-MIC1 was nearly a perfect mic to pair with my preferred earphones. It clips on to your headset cable and is out of the way unlike a boom desk mic sticking in your face. And since you clip it near your mouth on your headset cable it won't pick up everything else... Advertisement

Zalman ZM--MIC1 review
Strengths: Very cheap, Small, Long chord, Clips on easily to headphone chord, clear sound, good dynamic range especially for the price
Weakness: for price... none
I use the mic for skype mostly during fps gaming. Works very well! I use a pair of sannheiser 280 pro studio headphones with it. I was pleased that I was able to easily add a good mic to my existing headphones that works well and is cheap.
