Looks can be deceiving! Buyer beware :(Strengths: Can be used as a decent access point. Lifetime warranty Weakness: Too many to list but here are a few: Overheats. Price. Touchpad is awful. Takes 80 seconds to reboot. Reboot is required anytime you change port settings. Poor Signal and bad tech support. I bought this router because of the LCD screen and n draft feature but I should have gone with linksys or some other reliable brand name. My past experience with Belkin has always been great. I like the lifetime warranty and friendly tech support or should I say use to be friendly tech support. Buyer should be aware that the product does not function as described on the box. Because of poor...

Works great for meStrengths: Adequate signal strength, great looks, display panel is actually useful. Weakness: Does not have dual speed, but that is in the eye of the beholder. I have had the N1 Vision now for 4 months; which replaced another Belkin N1 router that I had for over a year. The unit was easy to set up and has been very reliable. I don't know what all the complaining is about, I have as many as 7 PC's on-line in my home at a time, most of them streaming radio or RSS at the same time and I not a any problems. It is definitely faster than the Belkin N1 it...

Too many problemsStrengths: Good looks; displays information in readable format Weakness: Expensive; weaker signal and slower speed compared with other leading N routers; FREQUENT (pretty much daily) need to manually reboot. There's no doubt that this is currently the best-looking router, one fit to be displayed on a desktop. My favorite display options show either the current transmission speeds, or a clock display. But its signal doesn't penetrate any further into my condo than my old 802.11b router, although it's definitely faster. However, a laptop downstairs often reports a speed of only 24Mbps, which I've read...

Nice Look not so nice RouterStrengths: Display with somewhat usefull information. Sleek Look. Gigabit LAN ports. Dual SSID configuration (primary and guest SSID) Weakness: Poor internet connectivity; Non persitent Configuration (always have to Reboot); Unable to Reserve DHCP Addresses; Overpriced. I bought this router to replace an old discontinued Dlink-DI634M, but when I was configuring the router, in my home office I need to dedicate several IP's on the reserved DHCP List, but for my surprise this unit doesn't have this feature (even the old dlink's di-624 has it), so I thought ok let's still try it and give it a shot to see how it performs, since all my network is GB based, when I...

Nice Toy! A tad overpriced.Strengths: -Great design -Nice guest feature -Long Range Weakness: -Getting some of the more advanced settings working on this device can be a hassle -Firmware is buggy I don't love Belkin products because I find their firmware buggy and their support non-existant. With that said, the N1 Vision is a nice little toy. I like best the design and the guest feature. Outside of that it is basically like every other wireless router on the market. The range is good and the device is stable (to date).

Belkin's N1 SwitchStrengths: Looks great, 1Gbps Speed, New 802 N Specs Weakness: None yet I still need to finish setting up the details in the switch. I recently moved. But the instruction manual states that this is a switch and not a router and in my past, some swtiches don't offer as many options as a router does for setup. The connection speed between my PC and 1Gbps NAS is great. I still need setup the 802 N link. I'll update my review once I do that.

Belkin N1 Vision
THE GOOD: Embedded LCD offers loads of information at a glance; guest SSID and password let you share your Internet connection without compromising data or privacy; easy setup; configuration utility is newbie-friendly; Gigabit Ethernet ports; slick, attractive design. THE BAD: Slow throughput; very expensive. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Belkin N1 Vision router makes great strides in user-friendliness,... Top

Belkiin N1 Vision Wireless Router Review
Have you ever struggled with setting up a router, especially a wireless one? The biggest challenge I find is making sense of all those blinking LEDs. Furthermore, you practically have to be a Net Ops admin (whatever those are) to administer and setup the wireless security. Belkin’s newest wireless router includes an LCD screen for step-by-step setup and sports the most up to date wireless... Top

Legacy-friendly Draft 11n: Belkin N1 Vision Reviewed
Belkin created a bit of a stir when it introduced the N1 Vision Wireless Router back in July. Its vertical orientation and graphic front panel status display gave it an elegant look and style that set it apart from the ho-hum crowd. Now that the router and its Notebook Card have received Wi-Fi 802.11n Draft 2.0 certification, it's time to see if it has the performance to match its looks. TopAdvertisement

Belkin N1 Vision
Strengths: Gigabit LAN ports, Dual SSID configuration, Lifetime warranty good customer service
Weakness: Expensive, weak signal
This is one of best looking routers.works great too. lan gives me 1.0 GB connection. wireless with linksys adapter is from 260-270 mbps in 400ft range. Works great with dsl and cable modem. cable modem 100% stable but with dsl modem i tried bridging modem with router and still connectivity problems. so i went with dynamic configuration and hell works great. remember put router in area with...
