Upgrading from an MX510Strengths: Comes w/ 2 grips w/ different feels. 3200 dpi! Adjustable +/- buttons on mouse for dpi. Weights for customization. Scroll wheel is smooth. SetPoint software allows macro recording. Can change colors. Weakness: Some might consider it small. Forward & back buttons are a little awkward finding & pushing. Miss the scroll up & down buttons. The middle click is difficult to use (doesn't push in very far/easily). Precision grip is almost like fine grit paper; it's textured rubber. Great for gaming and "clawers" like me. Wide grip is smooth rubber and feels nice for "palmers" who like to rest their hand on the mouse. Overall a great addition for any gamer but will take some getting used to. It has the ability to store multiple profiles which you can switch through with a button on the underside of the...

Great product for gamerStrengths: Adjustable weight. Precise. Weakness: I like the wireless mouse. Oh. I wait for this product for a long time. I owned a g5 before i got this mouse. loved it and i didn't think that logitech could top that g5 but they did, Mouse slides smoother than the g5 across the mouse pad and just fits more comfortably. I recommend this mouse to any gamer or anyone just looking for a great mouse.

EcstaticStrengths: Product arrived before scheduled shipping time for delivery. I was very pleased as this was a gift and it showed up on the date of the birthday, despite the fact I placed the order a day before. Weakness: None. Mouse packaging was in anti-static bag and then in a shipping box. Buydig.com knows their stuff. Very pleased, was cheaper and faster then Newegg.com. Will definitely use in the future.

maybe a minority opinion but NOT recommendedStrengths: precise tracking, my gaming aim seems to have improved, smooth glide, features (some less gimmicky than others), stuff below Weakness: see the long list below PROS: -Precise tracking helps with programs like photoshop as well as games -glides very smoothly most of the time -profiles per game/program is so convenient -macros come in handy -led is helpful to see what profile the mouse is using CONS: -logitech never released any additional grips like they promised -the smallest specks of dust, fuzz, etc get caught up in the huge surface area of the feet...

Mouse made for FPSStrengths: - Adjustable weights - Adjustable mouse acceleration on the fly - Adjustable scroll wheel Weakness: - Wired mouse - Pricey I cam from a wireless mouse to the G9. It's night and day using this mouse for FPS like CS: Source and TF2. I love how you can switch the mouse acceleration on the fly. It's great if your changing guns to snipe and need a different sensitivity. It tracks rather well and works very well with a func mousepad. Can't complain. Makes my gaming a little more enjoyable. Still can't justify the price for...

Would recommend this mouse to anyone!!Strengths: Love the profiles, changing the DPI on the fly, changing the colors, the cord is made of nylon? instead of rubber or plastic. Weakness: The larger holster is a bit too large, guess you need monster hands to use that one. I have been recommending this to everyone I know, my favorite feature is shifting the DPI; I use it when switching from infantry to vehicles in BF2. Also, the laser is extremely precise compared to optical mice. If you are deciding between this mouse and others, I would go with this one; it's worth every penny if you're a gamer.

best mouse I have ever ownStrengths: fast response, comfortable Weakness: a little heavy This is a fine mouse. I have a giant hand, my wife has a tiny hand; we configured it for her hand and she loved it; we added weights and changed the grip and it works very well for me. Changing the mouse over from one user to the next is quite easy, only a little bit fussy, but as a practical matter you will only want this to be a one-user mouse

Nice gaming mouseStrengths: The weight can be adjusted, high resolution, very precise and smooth with games. Weakness: The shape of the mouse isn't that comfort as its previous verion G7 or G5, need some time to get used to it. I actually think the wired mouse is better than wireless one, especially for gaming purpose when changing battery is a big headache during the game. Another issue might be that this mouse is kinda small compared to G7, so could cause some trouble to those with bigger hands.

G9 Gaming Laser MouseStrengths: Quality build, different profile sets, good software, customizable feel Weakness: Price, shape of the mouse, I am an novice gamer, just gettin into the gaming seen, and after a month or two of playing on my normal office mouse, it became quite apparent that it was time to move up to something better. My search began for a gaming mouse. After much research and reading the stats I came across the G9 gaming laser mouse. Unfortunately at the time the price was a bit high for me as the prices that I had come...

Logitech G9 Laser Mouse
THE GOOD: Customizable weights and grips; most sensitive laser sensor available; flexible configuration software; free-spinning scroll wheel. THE BAD: Grip attachment and weight kit hardware are too convoluted; inconveniently designed buttons. THE BOTTOM LINE: Usually were fans of Logitechs gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic... Top

Excellent performance but may not be for everyone
Strengths: Highly accurate, customizable
Weakness: May not be comfortable, middle mouse button is difficult to use cleanly
The Logitech G9 performs its duties as described and offers a lot of interesting customizability options. However, this mouse is probably best suited for those who prefer to "palm grip" their mouse. Its high back end may make vertical motion difficult for those who prefer to plant their wrist and move the mouse with their fingertips. In addition, it's difficult to click the scroll wheel without...
