After a lot of searching, an NAS system I love!

Strengths: U/I is intuitive, flexible and powerful; excellent I/O throughput as compared to similarly priced units; convenient ht-swapping design.

Weakness: Fan control could be more tweakable.

I've bene trying to find a 2-disk NAS system that supports RAID1, anonymous filesharng (within a firewalled LAN), and registered file/media sharing across teh internet. After MANY fits and starts, I think I finally got a winner here. It does true hot-swappable RAID1 (unlike, for instance, a D-link DNS-232 which claims to be RAID1 but can't rebuild a degraded RAID1 volume -- what's the poinf of...
