One of the best 550w power supplies availableStrengths: high quality components, 5 year warranty, long cables, single 12v rail, 80%+ efficiency Weakness: none apparent This is a great power supply, it has a 41A single 12v rail so it will provide clean, consistent power. It has a 120mm exhaust fan that is silent under all but most demanding conditions. If you put the psu under load for long periods, the fan ramps up to expel the heat and it is audible, but the sound is a low pitch and not distracting. Great power supplyStrengths: 550w Saving energy very efficient Weakness: NO modular cables I just got this power supply for my pc. Its great its uses 492 watts. Its also has Avg. Efficiency under Load: 82.2%. This is a great powers supply. Only downside is no modular cables but its still good.

Ok, PSU!Strengths: Sleek looks, heavy unit, all cords are well insulted, will run all the latest video cards, good tech support Weakness: It doesn't keep cpu tower as cool as OEM did, would be nice if it were modular, makes drive chattering much louder After reading the reviews for Corsair power supplies, I could hardly wait to receive my VX 550w. Weakness: Not as quiet as my hx620, not modular (but this was advertised so i won't count it towards the rating) What can i say, i purchased one of these guys from an etailer, and while testing it outside of the case, i noticed a low buzzing noise. Fantastic PSUStrengths: Quiet, Efficient, Long cables. Weakness: Haven't found one, yet. This is a fantastic power supply that runs quiet and is very efficient. It can handle any load you throw at it without skipping a beat. It is very flexible due to its long cables and abundant connectors. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for all of my future PC builds.

Good power supplyStrengths: Quality build, nice packaging, relatively low noise. Weakness: Non-modular, very thick cables. Having coming in knowing that this was Corsair's value line of PSU's, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the unit and its packaging and accessories. Other than having to bend the thick cables around a little to avoid running them into my case fans, the installation was pretty much a snap. The power supply is energy efficient and relatively quiet compared to the other fans in my case....
