One of the best!Strengths: Great graphics, bringing COD to the future is a great concept. Weakness: M rating because of language I have been a die hard COD player. I am glad that the makers came up with a better COD. Graphics is great, believable storyline, very immersive battles and missions and great multiplayer gaming. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Fun modern warfare shooterStrengths: Good single player storyline, good graphics and audio, fun multiplayer Weakness: Limited depth of multiplayer. Can feel repetitive. Overall COD4 is a fun and engaging game I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The single player has a cinematic quality which really engages you in the game play. As others have said its a little short but still a fun experience. The multiplayer is where you will likely spend most of your time. With multiple game modes there is a little something for everyone. Although fun and addictive it can at...

Addicting FPS gameStrengths: Beautiful, realistic graphics. Online play. Weakness: Need a workhorse machine to fully enjoy the eye candy. Solo campaign is a little bit short. I initially bought this game as a present for a friend who had been wanting this pc game. After a somewhat time-consuming install on his mid-range machine, I got to play a couple of the solo player missions and became hooked on the game myself. A few days later, I went and bought myself a copy and installed it. I have a beefier system, so I was really able to crank up the resolution and setting...

Modern WarfareStrengths: Stellar graphics, immersive game play, timely updates. Weakness: Short single player campaign. Chaotic on-line game play. I've enjoyed the past titles in this franchise, but this latest installment brings it to modern day warfare. I find it to be the best title yet. Game play is top notch and graphics are incredible! You'll need a relatively "modern" system to maximize the enjoyment of game play. Also, be sure to check for updates on-line to make sure you're playing with the most current version. On-line game play...

Short Single Player Campaign, not much teamwork in...Strengths: Strong storyline, great graphics Weakness: Very high system requirements. Not much teamwork in multiplayer, fighting is a bit chaotic, I played through the single player campaign in about 4 sittings. After finishing the campaign, there is an unlock for "arcade mode" which is pretty fun. You can pick each mission by itself and adjust the difficulty. I've played Battlefield 2 since 2005, and was expecting that type of gameplay in CoD4. Unfortunately the servers I have played on so far are nothing but zerg fests with players...

Great game - Intense - recommended!Strengths: Terrific graphics, good game overall Weakness: Length of game If you have enjoyed the previous Call of Duty games, you will like this one too. This game deviates from the past one in that it focuses on modern day warfare. It is a great playing game. This game has terrific graphics, and as long as you don't have an outdated computer, your computer won't have a slow display. The ability to join multi-player games on the internet is also a plus. The only...

A Truly Cinematic ExperienceStrengths: Amazing graphics, awesome sense of being in the fight, great missions with some really incredible set pieces. E.g. Long range sniping, shooting from helicopters and planes, intense ground battles. Weakness: It is quite short but its mainly because you can't stop playing, it's that good. Excellent game. I actually like this better than Crysis. Sure you don't have swaying palms but you feel much more like you're fighting for your life. The AC-130 gunship mission is one of the most unique and fun missions I've ever seen in a game. This runs with everything cranked to high where crysis will stutter and will scale better for older pc's. You also get an arcade mode once finished and...

Excellent GameStrengths: Storyline, gameplay both online and offline, and multiple game modes. Weakness: Annoying air strikes and helicopters in multiplayer. This is a top notch game with an excellent single and multiplayer gameplay. Realism was taken into account because you can't just run and gun with deadly accuracy like other shooters or go Rambo like other first person shooters. Team cooperation is a must because you would want to cover your buddy while going down the street otherwise the entire squad takes dirt naps. Call of Duty 4 is very...

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
The original Call of Duty set the bar awfully high for war-based shooters, and very rarely has one been able to surpass it. The series has maintained its momentum, pumping out new entries to the franchise and winning substantial acclaim as the top series for World War II action. However, whereas most franchises would be content to not stir the pot by going in a new direction, the team at Infinity... TopAdvertisement

Better than I expected!
Strengths: You get to use modern day warfare weapons and tactics.
Weakness: You need more recent PC hardwares to play at maximum details.
It's not as dramatic as CoD2 because the game isn't based on real event in modern day but is better than I thought for their first try. Then again, I have never played first person shooter with really good storyline. I have Geforce 7800GTX, Athlon64 3700 , and 1GB memory. The game runs at chunky speed on this setting so be prepare to upgrade your hardwares, if you want to play it on maximum...
