Intel Celeron 1.3GHz Processor

Strengths: fast, stable, CHEAP, did i mention fast?

Weakness: none

i replaced a pentium 3 1 ghz with this chip. i am utterly blown away by the speed and stability of this chip. its based on the tualatin core, 0.13 micron process. only drawback is the 100 mhz fsb, but its got a 256kb L2 cache, like the pentium 3. i put the chip in, upped the bus to 123 mhz(i have 133 mhz ram anyways), and was running stable and cool @1600 mhz! tested with sandra 2002 and it...

Intel Celeron 1.3GHz Processor

Strengths: reliable

Weakness: documentation

Processor has functioned flawlessly for three months. Installation went smoothly despite the fact that the installation manual (one page of pictures) was the worst. Purchased retail/boxed processor thinking documentation would be detailed- wrong.
