Flash memory makes an excellent recording medium. 2.7 screen easy to read. Low cost and high value. Weakness: Videos not great at very low light (rated at 3 lux). If you need very low light recording, you might think about another camera. Editing software is average. Overall a great little camera with a multitude of functions. A very good optical zoom range. Battery lasts two hours and lets you know how many minutes left. Price is very reasonable and quality of videos very good. Decent flash memory camcorder
Strengths: Easy to use, 34X Optical zoom, good image stabilization, battery life.
Weakness: Auto focus on moving vehicles, no snapshot function.
I mainly purchased this for taking videos while on my motorcycles. It does a decent job and image stabilizer handles most vibrations well. However, the auto focus appeared to have some difficulty when on a moving motorcycle. When taking hand held videos, the videos are much more focused and clear.
