Not completely a "SimCity" title-- more a "city...

Strengths: Some interesting concepts, good graphics

Weakness: Strays too far from the SimCity formula, buggy

Not entirely sure why this got the SimCity name, but this game is not part of the "true" SimCity series (2, 3000, 4, etc). This is more of a strange offshoot that tried some drastically different ideas-- some of which are really good ideas, some not so good, but unfortunately they're not particularly well implemented (And the game is so buggy that you may get frustrated before you see the...

SimCity is a misnomer

Strengths: Graphically, it looks great.

Weakness: Feels like a beta version. Crashes a lot. Waiting for publisher to release 3rd patch.

Why this game is called SimCity is beyond me. EA should not loan out their franchise if a developer can't live up to past versions. You're better off buying or sticking with SimCity 4. I'm putting this one back on the...

SimCity Societies

The past summer, here in southwest Idaho, saw a lot of road construction, and building construction taking place. Each time driving, navigating the detours and trying to avoid inevitable delays proved fruitless – which often resulted in mutterings centering on the poor planning and timing. Why is this relevant? Easy, a new Sim City title has released and rather than mutter about how you could...
