AMD ATHLON 64 X2 5200+Strengths: Afforable price, good performancde Weakness: none so far. I use to build my first htpc. It runs very quite and fast. I really like it. I have no trouble to install the cpu on my motherboard. I remember Intel cpu gives me lots of headache the time I install the cpu fan. Anyway, I give it 4 stars.

AMD value
Strengths: Low cost, medium low power requirements, & good performance.
Weakness: Technologicaly obsolete long before it dies
How do review something that is in essence a commodity. It installed easily and draws little enought current to run fine with an old power supply. It was a good value at the time of purchase, performs well, and will never die. AMD is a much better value Intel.
