Want a fast inexpensive quality...
Strengths: Speed,economy,quite operation
Want a fast inexpensive quality drive? This is one. If speed over capacity is what you need then this drive is the one. Transfer rates benchmark among the best IDE drive available.

Strengths: Speed/transfer rate.
Weakness: Operates at a very high temperature.
Device was so hot I could barely touch it. After contacting a computer technician friend of mine, he recommended I install a front-end cooling fan. After installing it the temperature decreased significantly and my concern was eliminated. Would purchase another.

to own this model of hard drive,...
Strengths: for high speed data access and afortable price, go for it.
Weakness: gets heat up very fast
to own this model of hard drive, make sure you have sufficient system ventilation or a good heat exchanger. Otherwise the heat from the drive will affect other component inside the system, especially the processor. It is recomemend that this hard dirve is installed with liquid intercooler.

I bought 2 of these drives to work with my RAID 0 configuration, looking forward to ATA133 with 7200RPM. Everything installed really fast and the operation of my PC was noticeably faster than with it's previous hard drives. After spending about 3 hours installing everything and getting started, I was really impressed with the hard drives...the old drives took over 6 hours to get everything installed (Drivers, Windows updates, games, etc.). When I went to boot the next day, the system was dead. I reverted back to the old hard drives to make sure that my system was ok and sure enough everything worked fine. I tested each of these new drives independently and found both hard drives had died. I would not recommend this product since both drives went bad.
