Great Power SupplyStrengths: Extremely Stable, Relatively Efficient, Modular, 8-Pin PCIe Weakness: Price, Somewhat Large As usual with Corsair, this 1000W Power Supply is very robust and reliable. This is my second Corsair power supply and it is just great. Does all you can expect from a PS, and does it well. Modular cables and 8-pin PCIe make it ready for the new cards coming out. Even though it is pretty pricey, it can be worth it if you are looking for reliability.

Quality modular psuStrengths: Plenty of amps (80) , plug-ins and cables , nice finish , 5yr warranty with Corsair name and reputation . Weakness: none . I wanted abit more power and future proofing for my Quad/Sli rig . Although my past Antec NeoHE 550 was fine (almost 3yrs old) , I was pushing it to the limit with my current setup . I definitly wanted a modular psu again but with more connections with room to grow for future upgrading ; hence the 1000hx fit the bill perfectly . Strengths: sturdy feel, quiet, runs cool
