Panamax 5300-PM review by a semi-techy
Strengths: - The amp meter measures how much electricity is being used which is very neat. - Has 11 outlets and a USB port which is very handy.
Weakness: Sometimes, my computer speaker won't turn on, but the standby light is on. I have to unplug then plug the power surge. This usually happens when I turn off the 3-5 channels.
Reason for Purchase: I read reviews that people say this help the quality of sound. I never tested this yet. But because of the Brand, the number of outlets, and the theory that it helped the sound quality made me bought this power surge. I also wanted to make sure my power surge will protect my expensive system well. Lastly, it does looks nice especially with the numerical meters and the lights....
