ATI 800 xl All in Wonder

Strengths: Good fast graphics

Weakness: Poor TV tuner and installation process; weak drivers.

Had it about 5 months. Installation was a pain; have to install multiple pieces in right order to get all to work and no explanation given. Nvidia cards are much easier to set up. Had a 9600 All in wonder first and found out after trying to set up that it didn't work with USB sound cards. Called tech support and they advised they had been in meeting that day and figured it out. ATI drivers are...

Great card but it could have been better...

Strengths: Close to top-of-line gaming graphics. TV is a nice feature.

Weakness: NOT even close to real Tivo. Remote Wonder is a complete waste if you have Dish/DirectTV/Digital Cable. Can't run F.E.A.R. at max settings.

I bought this card thinking "Oh how wonderful it will be to have TIVO on my computer!" The DVR-like function of this card is worthless. It is only good if you have basic cable. The 90% of us that have Dish/Digital Cable will find ourselves using our normal remote, and putting the Remote "Wonder" in a drawer. I have a Dell 2405FPW LCD monitor and it has PIP which I used to watch TV before I bought...

you gotta love it..

Strengths: Fast, fast, fast...increases overall PC performance, beautiful graphics, low power consumption

Weakness: nothing major...

I have emachine T3256, not a powerful let alone just a gaming machine what so ever... Before I bought this card I upgraded my RAM to 1.5GB hoping it would give a little extra boost to my fairly average budget PC. Well, I must say I couldn't really tell the difference to say the least ;< Then it came AIW 800XT, bang! As soon as I put this card in my PC boots 2X faster and the machine just flys! It...

I bought this and a hdtv wonder...

Strengths: Great graphics, TV tuner very much improved.

Weakness: Had to download the driver updates to get it to work.

I bought this and a hdtv wonder card at the same time. I had to figure out how to get both to work together by myself. The installation cd that came with the card was only used for verification to download the dvd codec. The tech support webpage was almost no help at all, and made a relatively easy installation difficult. I knew it would be difficult to install when I bought the card, but my...

Blazingly fast card for everything...

Strengths: Flawless gaming experience, runs beautifully as a card, TV/radio/remote features to boot!

Weakness: A bit pricey, bundled software is second-rate, some minor driver issues that need to be resolved.

Blazingly fast card for everything out there today even after maxing out all the settings. Counter-Strike: Source runs at 70 fps with 16x AF and 8x AA at 1280 x 1024, with all other settings maxed. This card is unbelievable! It uses less power, takes up less space, runs quieter and is the most powerful card I have ever owned. No need to overclock, but I hear it’s great at that, too. Specifics:...
