nice case for price...Strengths: compact, price, power efficiency, consumes little power Weakness: no slot for dvd or cd drive This is a nice case...it compact and it consumes little power. The only downside that I had is that this case does not have a space for a cd or dvd drive....so how do I install an operating system on the hard drive. There are a couple of work arounds but you are pretty screwed if this is your only computer.

Shuttle KPC K45 Barebone SystemStrengths: Solid construction, quality finish, compact design, low power consumption, easy to setup. Weakness: Not quiet when CPU heat up The construction and quality of the product from Shuttle is very impressive. In the past I have used products (PC enclosure and power supply) from Antec, Ultra Products, and Cool Master. I’m happy with Antec only because of the Solid built and quality finish. The KPC K45 is my first product with Shuttle and I am impressed when I took the enclosure out from the packing box and opened the cover....

K45 KPCStrengths: Small Size, Cheap Price Weakness: Noisy, No PCIX This Shuttle K45 barebone system can be very nice for business use, or media player use. The fan on PS is little bit too loud, and there is no PCIX for video card. Other than that it has been working great with E2200 CPU.

Shuttle KPC K45 Nice Mini PC
Strengths: Small, good build quality, silent, nice glossy black case.
Weakness: No ICE Genie heatpipe system and fan include in barebone.
I built new system with intel core 2 duo E7200 with 2G memory, 500GB harddisk and I also installed the 92 mm fan and slim dvd too. The system runs smoothly and works flawlessly with microsoft windows vista 32 bit, Linux Ubuntu and OSX. It is small and easy to carry to anywhere.
