Great Little ComputerStrengths: Fast, very compact, keyboard is easy to use, nice screen, seems durable, BATTERY life, great wireless. Weakness: The left/right mouse buttons are hard to push. Buy from another companyStrengths: none Weakness: The worst non-customer service I have encountered in my life! If you buy from this company you better hope the product does not breakdown! I bought a Asus mini notebook and it had a faulty drive and returned it at my own expense. Took a month and a half to get a USED replacement and it had three bad programs installed. I finally corrected two by myself since I did not get any real help from the arrogant so-called technical support after countless phone...

All things considered, we think the Asus Eee PC 1000HE is a surefire top-seller at just under $400. Windows XP Home runs perfectly smooth in everyday scenarios, and even when pushed, this machine responded admirably. Strengths: Rugged, superb battery life, fast processor for a netbook
Weakness: I don't like the power on/off switch. You have to mash the thing down; and I fear someday it will break but we'll see. The Intel video doesn't support hardware video decompression
Been using this netbook on a daily basis which is great during long meetings at work. I'm no longer a slave to the power taps! It was powerful enough to have VPN, 3 remote desktop sessions open and Camtasia Studio recording audio and video of the entire desktop---and no flicker! The only real performance downside I can detect is that the Intel low-power GPU is not capable of hardware HD video...
