Best Camcorder ever

Strengths: - Low Light just Rocks - Optical Active SteadyShot does a great job - Color reproduction accurate - 5.1 is amazing on a 5.1 system - LCD is big and looks great - I love the touch screen menu

Weakness: No mini-HDMI cable out of the box.

There is lot of complaint by many users regarding low light performance, when I tested it 1st even I saw too much of noise in low lux mode, then I figured it out low light should be recorded in standard mode where I see superb quality, Low Lux mode is for darker place where you need more light and if we don't want to use Night shot mode. Low lux video has too much of noise but it is very bright....

Strengths: High definition, 120GB HDD, 12.1 megapixel still images. Face Detection and Smile Shutter technology, a built-in GPS receiver, image stabilization and flexible playback and transfer options.

Weakness: heavier by HDD built in

the best deal for me to have the stuff purchased on line from www.fumfie.com. Sony XR500V with the lowest price and brand new, which also included all standard kits when getting it. In addition, on schedule deliver makes me enjoy my favorate activity of shooting for beautiful scene. Thank you again, Fumfie, will continue to support you with frequent purchasing.

THE GOOD: First rate video quality and performance; geotagging videos is fun, if limited. THE BAD: Annoying menu system; no wind filter; no manual shutter-speed, iris or audio controls; relatively big and heavy; expensive.
