Awesome computer for the priceStrengths: ultraportable, light even with 6 cell battery, nice screen, excellent built in power settings, strong wireless, runs windows xp fine Weakness: screen hinge does not fold all the way back ok to be honest this was difficult to find something to put in the weaknesses section! if you are looking for a computer to take on the road, this is it. the led screen and 6 cell battery make it a little pricey, but the extended power you can get is well worth it. since there is no cd drive i just used an external burner we had in the house to install some software, no problems. overall i am...

Best netbook I've used yetStrengths: BATTERY LIFE! I tested on my first day, and it actually goes 10.5 hours on a full charge, as claimed. Small, light, keyboard is much better than my old eee 900. Weakness: Remember, I'm comparing to a 900... I can't think of any ways in which my 1005 is worse than my 900. Collects fingerprints I guess... This is by far the best netbook I've ever used. Video playback is good, and only gets better with GMAbooster (download it for free). Shipping was prompt and I have had no problems at all with the product or with BuyDig. Props for including the free 2GB Ram! I'd buy this again in a heartbeat, it's so much better than my eee 900 (cramped keyboard, battery 'leaked' when not in use, and only lasted 2...

The 1005HA lives upto all the hype!Strengths: Battery Life, Performance, Design, Comes w/ a free case, very fast Wireless N card, ability to connect to 'extended' monitor of much higher resolution. Weakness: The sleek surface is prone to picking up fingerprints; I couldn't find the right bluetooth drivers for Windows 7 (as of yet); Bit costly. When I bought the 1005HA-P, it came with an additional 2GB RAM module free from BuyDig. The shipping is super fast (delivered in two days after shipping out of warehouse). When I first used it, it had windows XP installed, and I have to admit, it seemed a tad bit slower than what I had anticipated even with the 2GB RAM. But the moment I installed Windows 7 in it, it ran like a gem! I am loving...

The ASUS Seashell 1005HA-PU1X Delivers!Strengths: 10 in very nice screen; long battery life, nice size keyboard, quickly charges, quick turn on and shut down, ability to load 2GB ram, N280 processor, card reader, wi-fi is b/g/n, webcam Weakness: Outside cover attracks fingerprints, hard drive is pretty standard size but could be bigger, Windows XP This netbook really is top of the line for netbooks this size. Nice size screen and very long battery life are the top features and all of this is under 3 pounds. The only shortcomings are the outside cover that will not stay clean and the want for a larger hard drive. I am sure larger hard drives will be standard in the near future. I have not yet really explored the special ASUS tools loaded on...
