Description

The TS-659 Pro II Turbo NAS from Qnap is a large capacity, all-in-one business-class NAS server that is jam-packed with features. Six hard disk drive bays accommodate 2.5" or 3.5" SATA III, II, or I hard drives, allowing you to store your media and other files in a centralized location and access it from any computer or other device on your network or even remotely. The maximum capacity of storage space is 18TB, if you have six 3TB drives installed (drives are not included). The enclosure utilizes a fast dual-core Intel Atom CPU and 1GB of DDRIII RAM to ensure that it can retrieve data efficiently and quickly. The server supports a number of RAID configurations, allowing you to customize your system based on whether you'd prefer more storage or security. You can hot-swap drives while the drives are in a RAID 1, 5, or 6 configuration. You can also upgrade to a higher RAID level or expand to larger drives without having to turn off this enclosure.
