ASUS P5Q-EM Motherboard

Strengths: Tons of SATA Ports; HTPC board

Weakness: Not the most stable with S3 standby; no HDCP support thru AVR

I was building a HTPC, and originally went with the Intel DG45ID motherboard. It's based on Intel G45 chipset, which is targeted for HiDef media and integrating audio/video via HDMI. I gave up on that board, as I had stability issues. I tried this board instead. Well....it looks like the chipset, and not the manufacturer! I had the same major issues: 1) it would come out of S3 standby on it's own...
