The power is awesome and the fans are quiet

Strengths: The fans are very quiet, the power supply never gets very hot and the power from it is very consistant and is perfect for the money.I recomend it highly..

Weakness: none,none,and none

I own a Emachines T6003.Recently I installed a new Asus socket 939 motherboard with a Amd 64X2 4200+ dual-core processor and I'm running a 200 gb hard drive and 1 gig ram with a Plextor DVR 6xDVD+R DL burner and a EVGA 6800GT graphics card and 2 80mm fans which one I custom installed into the side panel and the power supply runs everything smoothly..

Awesome PSU for your money!

Strengths: Quiet operation, stays only warm, plenty of sleeved power cables, sata power cables, pci express power cable, 20/24 pin motherboard power cable

Weakness: Too many cables

This PSU is really awesome. Its 430w which is excellent for its price. There are two fans on this unit, one in the back for exhaust and one on the opposite side for intake. The air it blows our is fairly warm and the fans are of the low rpm kind, making the PSU very quiet. The PSU comes with sleeved power cables which help increase airflow. It also comes with a ton of different power cables,...

Quality product at a good price

Strengths: quiet, lot of plugs, dual fans, rock solid power supply

Weakness: None

This power supply can handle almost everything you can throw at it. It has connections for SATA power, 20/24 pin power and even a 6-pin PCI-E connector. It runs ultra quiet and can power everything in my system (Athlon64 3200+, 2 hard drives, 2 DVD burners & Radeon 9800 Pro video card.

Great PSU for the Money

Strengths: Good quality, smooth performance

Weakness: A little too big for some case

Great power unit for such low price! Thermaltake is a good brand in PSU/Case, and 430w fits perfectly for my current system with Athlon64 3000+, two hard drives and one DVDRW. The PSU's cable even has covers, and with plenty of different pins, you could add up many equipments (hard drives, case fans, ....) to your computer. But this psu was too large to fit with the top case fan in my Aspire...

Thermatalke TR2 W0070RUC 430W Power Supply

Strengths: Very suitable for black computer case. Very quiet for the money

Weakness: Didn't notice any so far.

Provides a convertable 24(20) main power connector. Also has a 6-pin PCI-Express connector. Nice and intelligent Black Cable Sleeving, provides optimum air flow inside the case. Protections against Over Power, Over Voltage, Short-Circuit, and Protection Reset

ThermalTake TR2 430W AC Power Supply

Strengths: Completely Silent! Cable design, Cable sleeving, PCI Express Connector, SATA Connector, 24/20pin Motherboard Connector, Tons of 4pin molex connectors, and did I mention that it's really quiet!

Weakness: None.

This power supply has saved me a lot of headache. I had another brand of power supply and it wouldn't power the PCI Express video card, but this power supply did. It works great, the cables look good and have more than enough connectors even for a gamer like me. This is definitely a good power supply for the money. Buy it.

Very steady for a fair price

Strengths: Black wrapped cables, built-in 20/24 pin supply, lots of molex plugs as well as sata power connections. Dual fans as well as very quiet operation

Weakness: Too many cables that blocked air flow. Low 12-volt line amperage

It has all the connections you can imagine, from 6 pin PCI-E's to sata power. Very quiet. has a overvoltage, shorting and proection reset functions. The dual fans allow the PSU to suck some hot air from inside the case as well as suck the cold air from the top intake fan. The voltages remain very steady through load. Do not rely on mobo voltage gages, use a multi-meter for accurate readings of...

Very nice power-supply.

Strengths: Very quiet. Lots of connectors.

Weakness: Didn't quite fit, but may not be the power supply manufacturer's fault.

I bought this power supply to replace a defective PSU in a Dell 8100. This power supply is much quieter than the Dell unit. So much so, that you can barely tell it's on. It doesn't seem to add any noticeable heat to make the system unstable. My only gripe is that it didn't quite snap into place. Maybe I just didn't push hard enough, or maybe this PSU is about 1-2mm longer than the standard Dell...

Great budget power supply

Strengths: Two fans; connector fits both 20-pin and 24-pin boards

Weakness: Only available in black; not ATX 2.0 compliant

Bought this power supply to replace a burned out Antec 300 watt. It can be found online for $30-$40 shipped and is a great little supply for the price. All of the cables are sheathed, which makes for a nicer finished appearance and helps with air flow. There are 2 fans to help with cooling, but the second fan is on the front, instead of the usual placement of being on the bottom. I believe that...

Thermaltake Blacklisted

Strengths: It has the wiring that you would expect from an ATX 12V 2.0 power supply.

Weakness: This power supply went bad after only a few hours of use. I replaced it with a Cooler Master power supply which has been working well for weeks now.

Unless Thermaltake can make it up to me, and I don't expect that they will, I will not buy any more of their products. I do not consider them reputable. I buy a lot of products from many companies and this is the worst that I have thusfar encountered regarding customer support. A warranty is only as good as it is backed up. I've been trying to get an RMA for this power supply. In 3 weeks time I...
