Canon Powershot sd880 ROCKS!!!!Strengths: image quality is great, user friendly menu/playback, the dial is *awesome*, nice big buttons, hi-res. LCD and wide angle lens, 4x optical zoom and Canon quality. Weakness: none for a point and shoot this has it all, if you want a professional camera go pay megabucks and get a Nikon digital SLR or Canon EOS otherwise if you want a great small easy camera with decent manual options get this one.

PowerShot SD880 IS ELPH Gold Digital CameraStrengths: Lightweight, feel solid and luxurious when handling, produce good quality picture in low-light condition (inside my car, at night) Weakness: Not yet found, beside the casing is made of plastic. It's a great camera to have. A little pricey compare to its Panasonic TZ5 rival (I paid $256 - $300 at other places - shipped from B&H for the SD880 IS; the TZ5 was sold in Costco for about $220 (after instant rebate) or about $250 at other places. However, the TZ5 is "ugly" compare to the SD880 IS; but it has more optical zoom, beside other possible advantage. So, if you are in for "style" and...

Canon PowerShot SD880 IS (gold)
THE GOOD: Excellent photo quality for its class; optical image stabilization; pleasing interface and design; wide-angle lens. THE BAD: Mode dial spins a bit too freely; button positioning might bother some users; very noticeable fringing. THE BOTTOM LINE: Simply put, the Canon PowerShot SD880 IS is an excellent point-and-shoot camera. Top

DCRP Review: Canon PowerShot SD880 IS
The Canon PowerShot SD880 IS Digital ELPH is a solid choice for those wanting a wide-angle lens and large LCD in a compact package. The SD880 is the only Digital ELPH with a wide-angle lens, and it offers plenty of point-and-shoot features to go along with it. Like most of the cameras in its class, it could use some improvement in the image quality department, but for the typical... Top

Canon PowerShot SD880 IS
Canon's PowerShot SD880IS fulfills the promise of the wide-angle pocket digital camera, pulling it off with style. The Canon SD880IS has larger buttons that are easier to read and operate, but not so easy that you'll accidentally activate them. And the camera's front flares out into a nice grip. The Canon SD880's rear LCD has Canon's new coating, which reduces glare and increases contrast, making... Top
